Overview:
The Bus. Ops Associate would be responsible for a wide range of tasks and functions to support best business practices, within a cGMP environment, to contribute to the overall success of day-to-day office and laboratory operations.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensures accuracy and integrity while working with cross-functional teams to support Bus. Ops. and overall business functions
- Maintains a positive company image and positive relations between employees, clients, vendors and regulators
- Answers incoming phone calls and emails
- Receives/greets in-person visitors and deliveries (samples, supplies, chemicals, equipment, etc.)
- Timely responses and replies to client emails and requests
- Follow up on inquiries / leads / emails
- Learns various electronic databases and software applications to support daily functions
- Performs sample intake, disposition and prepares outgoing shipments
- Performs supply intake and updates electronic database
- Performs duties as related to chemical inventory (orders, receives, intakes and disposes)
- Processes vendor and supplier orders and prepares purchase orders
- Records / maintains supporting documents and attachments, including the updating of project records in our electronic databases
- Drafts and issues electronic quotes
- Issues CSA invoices, updates electronic database and follows up with A/R as required
- Collaborates/ supports both internal and external colleagues in a timely manner to ensure alignment of our company mission
- Acts as a liaison between clients, vendors, and team members by effectively communicating challenges & proposing solutions
- Supports process improvements to ensure operational efficiency and increase business development
- Misc. / general housekeeping and other tasks, duties as required
Min. Qualifications:
- HS Diploma; Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Previous professional work experience, in a cGMP/FDA regulated/ defined quality system and/or environment is preferred
- Ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines associated with a cGMP, FDA-registered environment
- Possess excellent organizational and communication, both written & verbal, skills
- Accepts ownership/ accountability and has desire to improve, add-value, and learn
- This role is NOT remote; expected to work on site
- A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance
This is NOT a remote position – You will be working onsite at our Clifton, NJ facility
This position is ideal for a local (Clifton) person that is looking for a flexible part-time professional position of for someone who has been out of the workforce and looking to return to work at this time.
Expectations are a minimum of approximately 20 hours weekly, scheduled 5 days per week / 4 hours per day. Work hours each day are flexible between 8am -6pm
